Weekend #2

Second weekend traveling downtown (this time on a Saturday) and the weather was as close to perfect as I can imagine (high 80s, sunny, clear, light breeze). We decided to stay outdoors this time and went to Navy Pier. There was a carousel, ferris wheel, mini golf, IMAX, restaurants, boats, etc. and plenty of people! We grabbed some lunch at a cafe overlooking the lake and played a round of mini golf (sans scorecards...they ran out!) before walking back towards Millenium Park area along the lake.

We took a pit stop through the Cultural Center and saw a few small exhibits there and then worked our way back to the train. A beautiful day in Chicago!
